Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. is Hiring a Compliance Lead (Engineering) Near Atlanta, GA
- Assists the PCE in tracking the status of engineering NCRs or confirming the Developer’s completion of corrective actions associated with NCR related to Engineering items.
- Administer and participate in Product and Process Audits to verify Developer’s adherence to the DBF Documents.
- Participate in audit follow-up meetings to review draft external audit reports
- Assists the Engineering OV Manager oversight of the Engineering OV staff by monitoring and verifying specified PLI procedures are being adhered.
- Works with the CBL and PCE on modification or new processes to correct PMT performance, identify training or additional support that may be necessary, and to suggest updates to the PLI as the Project progresses.
- As needed, assist PCE in preparing the engineering section of the PMT quarterly audit.
- Ensures that all engineering aspects of GDOT projects comply with Federal, State, and Local regulations, as well as GDOT’s own standards and policies.
- Reviews engineering plans, designs, and specifications for compliance with regulatory and GDOT standards.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and government agencies to coordinate compliance-related activities.
- Maintains comprehensive documentation of compliance activities, decisions, and actions.
- Identifies and assesses compliance risks in engineering projects.
- Participates in the development and updating of GDOT’s engineering standards and procedures to enhance compliance and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering.
- Extensive experience in Engineering (10 years’ experience), with a significant portion of that experience focused on compliance in transportation or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in GDOT projects and procedures is beneficial.
- Thorough understanding of the Federal, State, and Local regulations applicable to transportation infrastructure projects, including environmental, safety, and engineering standards.
- Proficiency in report writing, analysis, and compliance procedures.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal and technical documents and apply them to practical project scenarios.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey compliance requirements to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
